Cabin 1
A closeup of Cabin 1, called the Tree House Cabin because it is set into a wooded hillside and all you see are leaves (when they're out) from the cabin porch.
Cabin 1 interior
Inside Cabin 1. The largest of the three, Cabin 1 sleeps 7. The other two, which are nearly identical inside, sleep 5 each. Cabins 2 and 3 are similar but sleep 5 each.

We have three rustic camping cottages.

The cottages have bunk beds with mattresses, a front porch, a picnic table, and a fire ring.

They have electricity but are unheated and do not have running water. Propane heaters are allowed; kerosene and electric heaters are not.

Composting restroom facilities are nearby (also without running water), and nonpotable water is available from the hand pump in the main parking lot. Bring your own drinking water.

Cabin 1 has five single and one double bunk beds. It is the most secluded of the three and has come to be referred to as the "tree house cabin" because of its setting.

Cabins 2 and 3 have three single and one double bunk beds. They are located around the edge of a small open field.

Firewood is available -- $5.00 for a 1’ x 16" x 16" stack. It is stored in a locked wood shed in the camping area. It is available for purchase from staff when the Wheaton House is open, May-September, Sat, 9:30 am to 4 pm; Sun, 12:30 pm to 4 pm; OR by chance;  OR by pre-order when making your reservation.

The Cabin locations are indicated on the Campgrounds Site Map.
