There are seven tent camping sites in the East Meadow Campgrounds. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided. Restroom facilities are nearby, and nonpotable water is available from the Wheaton House outdoor spigot.
The East Meadow Campgrounds location is indicated on the Campgrounds Site Map.
We have seven additional camping sites to the west of the Wheaton House and parking lots, in the West Meadow. They were created to accommodate cars and campers; a few can accommodate RVs. The sites, however, do not have hookups. Site 8 is along Silver Creek, between the back parking lot and the Williams Pavilion. Site 9 is in the West Meadow, behind the dairy barn. Sites 11 and 12 are further back, tucked at the base of the hill, Site 13 is at the far edge of the meadow, on Silver Creek, and Site 14 is in the stand of pine trees. The sites have picnic tables and fire rings.
Reservations

If you have questions or need help making a reservation you can either email us or call the Park Office at 570-967-7275 to tentatively schedule a reservation date. Leave your name, phone number, and the reason for your call. Someone will get back to you shortly. The office is staffed part-time. Once your date has been cleared with office personnel, you will need to pay for the reservation for it to be held. You can pay by credit card over the phone, or you can send the camping fee, along with a completed Campsite Reservation Form, to the park. The surest way to reserve is through the online booking system. In the time it takes for postal mail to arrive, someone else may have booked your site online.
Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received. Upon receipt of your payment, you will be contacted and your reservation confirmed.
Refund Policy: Cancellations received one week in advance of the reservation date: refund provided minus a $10 cancellation fee per site for administrative costs. Cancellations received less than one week before the reservation date: no refund. Campers removed from the campgrounds due to noncompliance with the park's rules and regulations: no refund.
