Access for the Disabled

Overlook Trail is a short (0.2-mile), wide trail that begins in a parking lot on the north side of Buckley Road. It winds through light and dense forest on generally level land and connects to the Hemlock Trail near the overlook to the falls. This section of the Hemlock Trail is a level, raised boardwalk along the east rim of the gorge until you reach Penny Rock. The boardwalk is accessible as well, and you can often hear the water rushing through the gorge and over the falls from it.
